National Trust event for the Bishop's Castle Walking Festival
This 9 mile walk starting at the Bridges, on the west side of the Long Mynd, will give us a chance to explore some of Adstone Hill, followed by the route up and over the Long Mynd into Cardingmill Valley. The route will take us to New Pool Hollow for those that wish to take to the waters and experience wild open water sensations.
Returning over the tops will give us views of the Stiperstones and all hills west. We’ll pass through the Ratlinghope area, Darnford Brook and be collected at the Bridges.
This walk is currently available Tuesday and Thursday but could be extended to Wednesday if demand requires it.
Extra kit needed – light weight towel, swim shoes/sandals, costume and something warm to put on afterwards.
