This walk marks the return of a very popular walk which we start with a rail trip, bound to delight, journeying from Broome to Llangunllo on the Heart of Wales line

From here in the wild but welcoming Wale the track mounts steadily along part of the Glyndwr’s Way, now a national long distance trail and follows as easy high-level route with ever changing views west, deeper into Wales and over towards the Victorian viaduct at Knucklas.

Offa’s Dyke greets us as we skirt Garth Hill to arrive in Knighton for the lift home.
