By exploring the past mineral extraction industry of the lead rich hills around Old Grit and the Bog gives this walk an explosive beginning.

We’ll be able to ramble along part of the Stiperstones Ridge to The Rock before selecting a secret little valley leading onto Heath Mynd.

The last stretch takes us across the watershed (water going east and west) through More, and along the Shropshire Way back to Bishop’s Castle
