Monday 7th June - Meet the Leaders and Old Friends - 8pm

This year we are meeting at the Boar’s Head, Church Street and during the evening we shall be explaining the arrangements for the 2010 Walking Festival. Leaders will also be there to meet guests and explain their particular walk and answer any questions you may have.

Evening meals can be obtained at the Boar’s Head, please book ahead (01588 638521).

Tuesday 8th June - An evening with Val Littlehales - Church Barn - 7.30pm

We are privileged this evening to have with us Val Littlehales, whose humour and tales of the Shropshire Hills, especially when she talks about the areas of the walks this year, will keep us entranced for the whole evening. This together with her bubbling personality will make it an evening not to be missed.

A meal is included in the price of £15 per person.

Wednesday 9th June - Free to ‘do your own thing’

Thursday 10th June - Final Evening at Edgton Village Hall - 7.30pm

For our final night we say Good Bye to our guests, who have helped us make the Bishop’s Castle Walking Festival the success that is the envy of other walking festivals in the country. Richard Morris will take us on a hot air balloon ride, via a projector, that will keep us captivated the whole evening giving us another view of the Shropshire Hills we have walked during the last three days that so many of you have come to love and enjoy over the years.

A meal will be provided. If required, a bus will pick you up from outside the Boar’s Head at 7.15pm and bring you back later.  Cost £15 per person
